Within our Mensas and Cafeterias as well as our CafeBar stations we offer a varied choice of food and beverages for prices within reach of the student budget. This varied offer is the base for a healthy and well-balanced nutrition on the Campus.
For our Offer the following Principles apply:
- All our food is made fresh, with fresh ingredients.
- We use producers and suppliers from the region as much as possible.
- We do not use flavor enhancers in our dishes
- All our eggs and egg products are free-range
- Chicken meat according to standards “Europäische Masthuhn-Initiative”/European Chicken Meat Initiative (conversion by 2026, summary report 2022)
- Fish is sourced from sustainable fishery sources (WWF recommended)
- We regularly offer especially valuable and balanced mensaVital dishes
- FairTrade Coffee as much as possible
- Spices are always from certified organic farming
- Highest hygiene standards
- We avoid wastage of food (We are a partner in the association “Wir retten Lebensmittel” - We Save Food)
