Augsburg Student Services is a member of the Deutsches Studierendenwerk (German Student Services), an association of 58 student services in Germany, and the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband (equal welfare association) in Bavaria.

The South-West Working Group (Arbeitsgemeinschaft („ARGE“) Süd-West) organizes the professional exchange between colleagues from various Student Services.

The Studierendenwerk Augsburg is the first signatory of the alliance "We save food!" initiated by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry.
