All students properly enrolled at the University of Augsburg or Augsburg University of Applied Sciences will receive the semester ticket. This costs € 92,25 for one semester.

The semester ticket fee is collected together with the Student Services fee upon enrolment or re-registration at the universities in Augsburg.

The option of an exemption from the fee obligation only exists for severely disabled students who are entitled to free transport and are in possession of a supplementary sheet to their disabled persons pass and the corresponding token.

The legal basis for charging a fee for the semester ticket is the Augsburg Student Services statute regarding an additional fee for transport for students of the University of Augsburg and the University of Applied Sciences  – on local public transport (semester ticket).

The student ID, the validated CAMPUS CARD AUGSBURG, is proof of the semester ticket. If the CAMPUS CARD AUGSBURG does not contain a photo, it is only valid as a student ID and as evidence of the semester ticket together with an official photo ID.

All students properly enrolled at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Science pay a solidarity fee for a semester ticket to the amount of € 32,00 per semester. For this price, students can travel for free from 18:00 from Monday to Friday, all day at weekends and on public holidays in the entire DING (Danube-Iller) public transport network, including zones in the neighbouring tariff area of Heidenheim. Night buses can also be used for no extra charge.

The semester ticket costs € 116.50 per semester and can be used at any time in the DING transport network.

The solidarity fee for the semester ticket is collected together with the Student Services fee upon enrolment or re-registration at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences.
